Who says you can’t be creative with your afternoon snack, especially on a sunny day.

Hey Beauts!
Guess what?
You know I mentioned recently [if you read my recent food posts] that I have been eating a lot healthier nowadays by not eating too much junk, and instead I eat more fruits or other healthy foods. I love trying out new things (well, now I do... haha) and creating my own recipe; who knows I might have my very own cook-book published in the future. I said it here first. I always want to do something original on my blog, rather than recreating what other people have done. But it is hard sometimes because there is always going to be someone that has done something similar, I guess you just have to make it your own by adding something unique for it to stand out from the crowd.

Love when it's gooey on the inside and more frozen on the outside. THE BEST!

In this post, I am going to show you the step by step guide for creating this delicious healthy frozen yoghurt out of ingredients that I gathered together, which contains all type of berries and granola. Hm I love berries… If you want to know the kind of Greek yoghurt and Granola I used to make this snack, click this XXXX to check them out in other food posts!

How did I make this frozen yoghurt and what did I use?
I used:
Blue Berries
Greek yoghurt
A little jar
A soup spoon
A bowl

Steps in making it:

Step 1: Get a bowl and add few spoons of the yoghurt.
Step 2: Add a table spoon of honey and mix it all together with the yoghurt.
Step 3: Cut up the strawberries into slices that are squash-able and add them in the mixture including the blueberries.
Step 4: Squash the fruits, and make sure some are still visible. You will see that this will add a little colour to the yoghurt.
Step 5: Pour a little granola in the jar to make a base, then pour the yoghurt on top till it reaches the middle of the jar.
Step 6: Add more granola on top of yoghurt and then pour more yoghurt on top till it fills the jar up.
Step 7: Now it’s your choice to decorate and jazz it up the way you like.
Step 8: Pop it in the freezer  for about 1 hour 30 mins to solidify (don't forget to cover it up with cling film) and then it’s all done.

You could make some for yourself today! Mother Nature is blessing us with gorgeous sunny weathers lately, and I am treating myself to frozen yoghurt as you are reading this; oh and I am also watching The Fosters.

Until next time beauts!

Wow, it’s been a while since I posted something on interior décors. Although I haven’t posted about interior décor on here, I have actually been re-blogging a lot of pictures on my Tumblr. If you want to check my page out and follow me [please], click here --- > TOLARAYE

To be fair, all I do on Tumblr nowadays is look through pictures of interiors, home décors and so on. I do prefer Tumblr to Pinterest just because I feel it’s less of a hassle and you get much more inspirations. To me, Pinterest is more for people who are interested in DIYs, and I think that’s like the platform for learning how to create something from scratch. Tumblr is just like looking through an album of different aesthetic photos and much more.

I was looking through Tumblr the other day and I just came across lots and lots of winter bedroom photos. So I thought instead of just re-blogging it on my tumblr, why not create a mood board post on it, and share bits and bobs of how I would transform my bedroom from summer vibes to a more cosy winter bedroom. Now that it’s November, we can finally say it’s time to bring out the subtle wintery coloured throws, blankets, faux fur carpets, and more. I feel like now I am more into woollen throws rather than the faux fur ones, because it actually gives me more winter vibes than a faux fur (throw) that people would tend to go for in the summer. I don’t know, you might think differently; Let me know in the comments which one you would go for, faux fur throws or woollen throws for winter?  Overall, I think a throw is an important staple to have during winter time in your bedroom. It’s comfy, warm and makes the room look fab.

What about the bed itself? Do you guys think having a comfy bed all year round is very important? I think I totally agree with this, because who would want to be changing their mattresses every season… not me [Unless you are Kylie Jenner lol]. If you are looking into getting new mattress this year, I think the best time to purchase new ones is maybe during Christmas time [which is literally around the corner] when there are always loads of sales/discounts everywhere. I actually stumbled on a website called FishPools few days ago. I must say they sell the comfiest looking beds have ever seen, Have a look and you’ll see what I mean. You know one of those mattresses that is the perfect size and when you lie on them in a store, you don’t sink in and it’s just very cosy and comfy; and you want to take them home ASAP? Yep that’s how I felt when I saw these FishPools mattresses. Go have a look, you might actually end up buying a bed! We do need change sometimes, right?

[Okay after this paragraph I will end the post, I promise ha-ha.]

Okay I think I am also liking this wood trend that is going on nowadays, like having maybe a wooden mini stool like in the picture on here, or a wooden side table; or even dressing table. I just feel like having something wooden in your house is so in at the moment. I personally love fine wooden floors and maybe wooden cupboards in my kitchen. Remember that black wooden cupboards that Kylie Jenner had in her kitchen, I think in her first house… yeah that’s the one I want! Well speaking for some Nigerians, you can’t be having white cupboards because we make too many stews (soups) and I can’t be having stew (after cleaning) marks on my cupboards lol
Anyways lovelies, I think I will stop here.
I can go on if you want, but I don’t want to bore you guys ha-ha.

Oh also, what do you guys think of the last bedroom pictures? Do you like the décor? Do you think it passes as a winter room? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time babes! Xo

HI Beauts!

So, what am I always up to on a Sunday? First of all my Sundays are always different *ish* but they are also a lot similar in most ways. I want you guys to get to know more about the girl behind the blog so keep on reading this tale on how I spend my Sundays.
On a Sunday, I usually take a break from studying, writing essays and all Uni related stuff [that is, if I don’t have a lot of work to get done]. Although some peoples’ Sundays might consist of maybe food shopping for the week, clothes shopping with friends, or doing home chores [Just a guess haha]. For me, it is TV Show binge watching day [this should be a holiday... just saying lol] because my plan is to stay in bed all day, every day! I am not moving an inch from my bed lol.
During autumn time, I tend to watch Tv series that has a little bit of spooky-ness and drama. It just gives me that Halloween (and winter is coming) vibes, for example I like watching/re-watching shows like,

1.      Teen Wolf
2.      PLL
3.      How to get away with murder
4.      Orphan Black
5.      Desperate Housewives
6.      Devious Maids
And so on.
My sister is actually making me watch Game of Thrones at the moment, so I am kind of getting into that as well. Any GOT fans out here? Let me know in the comments!

Let me know in the comment section if there are shows similar to these ones, that I need to check out. I am always down to discovering new epic shows.

Also whenever I am watching any of these shows I always like to snack on anything that I find in my snack cupboard. I always stock up this cupboard with sweets and biscuits like,

1.      Skittles
2.      Ginger biscuits
3.      Sweet and salty popcorn
4.      Digestives biscuits
5.      Rich tea biscuits
6.      Short bread fingers.

I was actually having these biscuits the other day and they taste sooooo good! I haven't really had this type of biscuits in ages! I am so into ginger biscuits now but I am definitely going to start eating more of these ones. YUM! They have that crunchy texture that you always want in biscuits, and what made them even taste more scrumptious is having them with lemon and ginger tea. Try it and you' ll see what I mean!
I always have to have something to eat when I am watching a TV show. If I don’t have at least one snack, I won’t enjoy what I am watching lol. SO snacks are key in my book. What is your take on this?

P.S This biscuits are all independent brand and owned by CostCutter. If you are looking to get these scrumptious biscuits, head over to CostCutter to purchase them.

Hope you guys got to know me a little more haha.
I actually enjoyed writing this, I think I will be sharing more of this 'about me' mini tales in the future.

Anyways babes,

Until next time! Xo

Hey beauts!

How has your week been?

I have been reading, studying, exercising, and food shopping, and going to lectures so nothing fun on my part ha ha #studentlife.
I think it has finally hit me that I am in 3rd year! I can’t even explain to you how anxious you get when you know you are now a finalist at University, and it’s just few months left to getting your degree. These few days has been alright considering we already have a lot to do in terms of starting dissertations, reading for assignments and so much more.

Anyways let me not bore you ha ha. Hopefully, I will do a post on third year experience in the summer and spill all the gist on there, but for now let’s get into today’s post which involves Jimjams Spread Ft Bananas!

Every time I am reading or studying at Uni, I just always want something sweet to snack on. It gets me through it all I must say. Although sometimes eating sweets/chocolates is amazing, the sugar intake is just ridiculous! Thank God I finally found something that is not only healthy, delicious but also better than the sweets and the chocolates I consume daily, which is JIMJAMS spreads!

The Jimjams spreads comes in different flavours, milk chocolate, black currant jams, raspberry jams, hazelnut chocolate and so on. These spreads have 83% less of sugar and contains ingredients like, maltitol (contains fewer calories than sugar), natural flavouring, fat reduced cocoa and so on. The best place to get this is at Tesco supermarket or Holland&Barrett! I don’t know if there is any other places to get them but I would check their website and social media channels to see if there's any more information there. Links are down below!

I am definitely going to use these spreads in future baking recipes, and of course I will share it on here for you guys to see and maybe try? Jim Jams spread also provided me with a recipe book and I think I am allowed to share atleast one recipe with you guys! [For more recipes, visit their website] The one I definitely want to make is the choccie & banana wrap recipe. It looks and sounds so yummy! Eating it with banana for a lunch snack this afternoon was so scrumptious, I just wanted to finish the jar all at once! NO JOKE.

The recipe from the book is as follows,

4Tbsps. Jimjams Hazelnut or milk chocolate spread. 2 Tortillas. 1 Banana

- Spread two tablespoons of jimjams on each tortilla.
- Peel the banana & slice in half-length ways. Place on the edge of the tortilla.
- Roll the tortilla up from the side with the banana.

And there you have it! Choccie & banana wrap of goodness!

Hey beauts!

I am sure you are aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I don’t know why I didn’t do this last year but I want to be able to use my platform to generate awareness like such. I have decided, starting from today that I will be doing a post every October about breast cancer awareness, because this way young ladies like myself will get to learn more and basically educate ourselves on how to check our  breasts regularly, and so on.
Research have shown that ‘1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime’.

In order for us ladies to know more information around breast cancer, is here to help, not just in October but all year round. They want to make sure that women like myself are being safe and checking themselves regularly. It is also very important that we know how or what we are looking for when checking.

Below is a video and a Post link that has created to help educate us women on how to check, what we might be finding, and if it may be cancerous or not.

To check out the post for detailed information, please click here ---> INFORMATIVE POST

For more information on and what they specialise in, keep on reading.

Hey Beauts!
I can't remember the last time I did a monthly beauty favourite post. I love doing post like this especially when I know the goodies I am about to share with you guys are absolutely amazing.

In terms of the body shop mists, I use them for setting my makeup. At first I thought these two products will never set makeup properly like Mac, or Urban Decay sprays. How I was wrong! I actually prefer using these two products. I do use the Vitamin E more than the Vitamin C one, because it makes the face stay hydrated throughout the day. I will try and use more of the Vitamin C though, just to see how they differ; and which one I will want to continue using in the future.
Nowadays it is all about the acrylic french nails! Let me tell you, before I was not a fan of acrylic nails because every time you apply them they always come off like 1 hour later or so. KISS acrylic french nails are actually way better than I thought. It stays and last for weeks. No Joke. Definitely A MUST TRY. These nails does not only come with their own glue and extra nails, but they also look real! So no one will really notice that it aint your real nails. To know more about KISS Nails, Click here --> @KissProducts
Here is what the nails will look like when you fit it on your nails. You can always paint it, shape it, or leave it as it is.
It looks gorgeous both ways!
Lastly the Micellar cleansing water. I know this product is so 2014 but seriously guys I cant get enough of it! It is the best makeup remover ever! This literally removes all your makeup in one go. No need to be wasting 5 face wipes just because you want to remove ordinary makeup ha ha. Anyways yeah it is the best. If you dont know about this product then you should definitely look for it, buy it and try it out! P.s I have a sensitive skin, so I tend to buy the one for sensitive skin. Just thought I should add that In case you have sensitive skin like me.
 That is everything!
Comment below and share with us your favourite beauty product at the moment.
Will love to see and try out new products that are out there.
Until next time babes!

Hi Beauts,

As you might have guessed by the title, I am going to be taking a break from blogging for a bit.
There are already some scheduled posts that might be going up this month and next month, but I won’t be as consistent in uploading posts every week, for example.

I am sure some of you would have guessed why I am going to be a taking a break, because I kind of mentioned it a lot in my recent posts. Yes, I am in my 3rd of university now. The final year as some  may call it. Basically there is a lot going on that I need to put my 100% focus on at this point in time, which then leads to me not paying attention to my blog and the social media channels attached to it. Sometimes I will pop by to write bits and bob on my twitter or re-tweet old posts, so technically I will still be on the space [kind of], just not all the time like I did in the summer.

I am going to be back before you know it! Keep reading the recent posts if you haven’t and also keep an eye out for new posts that might pop up from time to time. Subscribe to my blog if you haven’t! This way you can be able to know first-hand if there is a new post on the blog.

Okay, so…

All the best babes!
Speak to you soon!
