5 THINGS I AM LOVING AT THE MOMENT!

Hey!
Welcome back beauts.

So before I get cracking with today’s post, can I just say that coming up with ideas for a lifestyle blog is actually quite difficult! I have been sitting here for the past few days now and only got like 3 ideas. Now I know why some bloggers/vloggers complain about how they have problems in creating exclusive contents. Anyways how has your week been? Let’s chat in the comment section!

In today’s post I am going to be sharing 5 things I am loving at the moment. This post was actually inspired by one of favourite bloggers [Shirley’sWardrobe] who just did a similar post not so long ago.

What am I loving at the moment?

Watching Everybody Hates Chris. *insert* *Chris Rock is a genius comedian*. One of the things I love to do during summer time is binge watch old TV series that I can never get tired of. After watching this series, best believe I am going to start watching Friends for the millionth time. I have a life guys, but I like to binge watch from time to time, you get me? Ha-ha.

Nigerian Vlogger: SISI YEMMIE. If you are studying in a different country to yours then you will know that sometimes you do miss home. Sisi Yemmie is just one of the best vloggers to watch if you feel a little home sick. Like her vlogs are always on point, her recipes are just to die for, and her son Titobi is the cutest baby ever! Every time I watch her vlogs, I just feel like I am still in Nigeria eating suya and drinking zobo lol.

Reading Novels. I am currently into novels that are written by Nigerian authors. I just like when I can read a story, and I can sort of relate to it because of the terminology used and so on.  I am currently reading a book called Bit of difference by Sefi Atta (the winner of the inaugural Wole Soyinka prize for literature). I got the used copy from Amazon.com, and it has been a great read so far.

Group chats/FaceTime. A lot of my close friends are not in the same town as me so it is quite hard to meet on a daily basis. We also have stuff going on in our lives, so the only thing we can really do to stay in touch and catch up is by having a group chat and face timing! Our group chat is always LIT! Because there is always something new and exciting to talk about. The same goes with being in the UK and having families back in Nigeria. That’s just how we keep in touch really.

Twister Ice-lolly. Guys, you all know how much I love my food. This is literally the best ice-lolly ever! But can we just talk about this England’s weather for a sec… I don’t know what is going on with England’s weather but today it is cold as ice and tomorrow it’s hot like a boiler. I always complain about the weather. I mean, don’t we all? When it’s cold we complain, when it’s hot we complain. It is a bit chilled today but you will never know… This is why I make sure I have twisters in the freezer just in case the weather want to change up on us again.

That’s it beauts!
I think I am going to be doing this more because I actually enjoyed writing this.
Don’t forget to let me know how your week has been in the comment section, and also let me know what/who you are loving right now?

Until next time beauts!

PURE COCONUT OIL IS THE BEST BEAUTY PRODUCT | MAY '16

Here is why I think coconut oil is the best.
I basically use coconut oil for everything, from hair, makeup removal, to body and face moisturiser.

As I am currently struggling with pimple scars that are refusing to fade on my face! This is my go-to beauty face moisturiser at the moment. Coconut oil has been helping me with this problem so far and I will make a post on it if I see better improvements. I also use coconut oil for my hair because it helps with hair growth and shininess. It actually really works because I sometimes get compliments from people saying how they like the shininess of my hair and so on.

The best thing about coconut oil for me is, you can get it in bottles or big jars like this for cheaper prices than buying variety of branded moisturisers. I personally think it’s more effective than branded products as it is pure, and it doesn’t have loads of chemicals added to it.
#Disclaimer - This is not a paid post!

In terms of it being a great product for removing makeup, I would definitely recommend you to try it out because it really does work! The first time I ever came across this concept was when I read a blog post on ways to use coconut oil, and I have been using it ever since then! I use it to remove things like my waterproof mascara, matte lipstick and felt tip eye liner.

I usually get pure coconut oil online from Amazon. There are other pure coconut oil brands you could buy as well if you are interested. Also, before you purchase this I would advise you to read the reviews on the website, read blog posts, and also watch some YouTube review videos! Don’t just buy anything that has nice packaging, make sure you investigate properly. The reason why I say this is because I am that individual that used to fall for nice packaging lol. Definitely learnt my lesson.
P.s This coconut oil smells amazing!

Comment below if you have any other suggestions on ways you can use coconut oil!

GRANOLA, YOGURT & STRAWBERRIES | SIMPLE BREAKFAST RECIPE

Hey!
I am back with another breakfast recipe! However this time it is my sister's breakfast recipe. This is what she tends to go for every morning whenever she's running late (particularly at University). I know sometimes we students that have morning lectures don't really have the time to make breakfast. Do not worry anymore because here is a simple recipe you could try! It is healthy and delicious!
If you are a student and you normally miss breakfast because of early morning lectures, then this is for you! It is simple and very easy to make. Moreover this also goes to people who have early morning jobs as well.
Let's get straight into it, shall we?

What do I need?
Greek Style Yogurt (plain)
Honey
Strawberries
Jordans - Simply Granola
A bowl
and
A spoon.

STEP ONE
Add the yogurt in a bowl and then add the honey on top.
(You can mix it if you want)

STEP TWO
Wash your strawberries and leave it on the side for now.

STEP THREE
Now add the granola on top.
(you can add as much as you want)

STEP FOUR
Cut the strawberries on top as well

STEP FIVE
Add a little bit of honey on top of the strawberries.
Swirl and swirl!
Thats enough! Lets not get carried away ha ha.

Time to eat!
This will literally take you five minutes to make.
Let me know in the comments if you have tried it, and how you found it!
If you also want me to post more breakfast recipes, let me know in the comments as well.
Until next time beauts xo

I QUIT? | THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS...

Hi Beauts!

I quit?
No I am not quitting blogging haha. But why ‘I quit’?
I feel like a lot of us sometimes fall into the ‘I Quit’ Category. We sometimes want to do it all and when we get tired of one thing, we quit. When something is not progressing we quit without giving it a chance to grow. When we see other people growing with whatever they are doing, and we don’t see any growth in ours, we quit. Why? Do we not have any patience? Or do we just want to teleport to that success land without jumping over hurdles…

Quote: ‘when you feel like quitting, think about why you started

We all just need to remember that, when it will be... it will be!
Hard work always pays off. If you feel like you are not going anywhere, maybe you need to change something that you are doing. It might be that thing that is stopping you from moving forward.

I started blogging about 4 years ago, but I kept quitting and coming back! I went from Miss Dimples Blog to Fuchsia Fleur, and now Tolaraye… I loved doing this but I was so eager to get a lot of readers. [You are not going to get 1000 readers overnight boo lol] Every time I see that my blog isn’t going anywhere, I quit.

Is this right? NO!
However what I did was, I needed to remind myself why I started blogging in the first place; which was due to my love for being creative and just expressing myself through writing for example. *And the people that pushed me to realise this [shout out to them]. I also realised that I started this because it was fun and It was a hobby I loved doing. It has always been my hobby and it will stay like that.

This post is just to encourage you that if you know you are good at something, always have patience. You will never know where and how far it will take you.

And that’s it!

EFFECTIVE WAYS TO SOLVE BRA-BLEMS! | THIRDLOVE.COM

 Hi Ladies!

So, I definitely don’t think I am the only one that encounters the ‘Bra-blems’. If you don’t know what I mean by ‘Bra-blems’, it is basically the problems we sometimes have with bras. That is, for example
  1. The straps are too lose or tight.
  2. The straps are digging into your skin or poking you.
  3. The bra keeps riding down every second.

And so on…

So ladies, guess what? I was introduced to a San-Francisco brand [ THIRDLOVE.COM ] that provided me with a guide onhow to put on a bra’. The title of the guide might seem a little straight forward like who doesn’t know how to put a bra on… but trust me this guide provides you with beneficial tips!

THIRD-LOVE also provided me with a discount code! [15% off all orders: BRABLEMS]. How exciting! If you are already looking into getting new bras for the season then you should definitely check them out. Their site is filled with gorgeous items especially their bras <--- CLICK HERE
